  • Rob Oretti

    Dentist GDC Reg No: 63034 | BDS, MGDS, MFDS

    Rob qualified in 1987 and, after working in an orthodontic practice for four years, came to Newbury in 1992. Rob is co-clinical director of Pentangle- Part of Bupa and has built a reputation for aesthetic treatment of complex cases involving cosmetic, implant & orthodontic treatments.

    In 2002, Rob became an implant tutor for a dental corporate and has taught many dentists on all aspects of implant therapy. Rob has published several articles on implant therapy, is a mentor and faculty educator for the ADI (Association of Dental Implantology), an international speaker for the ITI (International team of Implantologists), and is a Royal College of Surgeons examiner for the implant diploma (RCS Edin).

  • Stephen Jones

    Dentist GDC Reg No: 58554| BDS London 1983, MSc, MGDS, MRD 

    Stephen qualified in 1983 and has worked in Newbury since 1988. He subsequently gained further qualifications in practice whilst teaching both undergraduate & postgraduate dental students. He has also been an examiner for The Royal College of Surgeons. His main interests are in the field of aesthetic implant dentistry and he has placed over 2000 dental implants since his initial training in 1989. He became a specialist in restorative dentistry in 1999 and lectures widely.

  • John Hunt

    Dentist GDC Reg No: 57732 | BDS Dund 1983 DRDP PGCertMed Ed. 

    John qualified from the University of Dundee in 1983 and worked in general practice for 20 years before returning to University at the Eastman Dental Institute to undertake post-graduate qualifications between 2003-2006. Now his practice is limited to endodontics (root canal therapy). He also teaches and mentors newly qualified dentists in the Berkshire / Hampshire area.

  • Raman Bhardwaj

    Dentist GDC Reg No: 85724 | BDS Bristol 2005, MFDS RCS (Eng), MCLinDent (Perio), MPerio RCS (Ed)

    Raman graduated from Bristol Dental School in 2005. After completing vocational training, he worked as a Senior House Officer in periodontics, restorative dentistry and oral surgery at various hospitals including Bart’s and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry and Birmingham Dental Hospital. During this time Raman completed Royal College of Surgeons examinations to gain the Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgeons qualification.

    In 2013, Raman completed a four-year training programme in periodontics and implant dentistry at King’s College, London. This led to the award of the Master of Clinical Dentistry (periodontics) qualification and Membership in Periodontics at the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh.

    Raman is registered with the General Dental Council as a specialist in periodontics. He works at several referral practices and provides a range of treatment including the management of gum disease, mucogingival surgery for treatment of gum recession, crown-lengthening, periodontal regeneration, placement of dental implants and treatment of implant complications.

  • Manas Mishra

    Dentist GDC Reg No: 82794 | BDS Calcutta 1988 MDS FDSRCEng DipImpDent(UCL)

    Manas qualified in India in 1987 and then completed his postgraduate training in Oral Surgery four years later. Afterwards, he went on to work as a clinical lecturer until moving to the UK in 1999 to pursue further training. He has held training posts in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at several hospitals across the country, during which he obtained his Fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

    Since 2004, he has been providing a full range of specialist services in oral surgery in the secondary care in Berkshire, supervising and training foundation dental trainees.

    Alongside his clinical work, he examines for both the Royal College of Surgeons of England and Edinburgh and runs hands-on courses for newly qualified dentists.

    More recently, he has successfully completed a four-year part-time Diploma in Implant Dentistry at Eastman Dental Institute.

  • Iain Stewart Hawthorn

    Dentist GDC Reg No: 53008 | BDS Dund 1979 MSc FDS RCPS MOrth DOrth

    Orthodontist Stewart Hawthorn qualified as a general dentist in 1979 at the University of Dundee and went on to gain his orthodontic qualifications at Guy’s Hospital London in 1987. He has worked in Hampshire since 1988. Stewart keeps up to date with the latest orthodontic techniques and appliances such as Invisalign® and is a regular recipient of the Invisalign Platinum provider award in recognition of the number of cases he has treated. Stewart has taught other dentists and specialists and has delivered lectures both nationally and internationally.
