  • Dr Paul Cole

    Dr Paul Cole has over 25 years dental experience after qualifying from Bristol Dental School in 1989. He has worked at the Westfield Dental Centre practice for over 16 years. Dr Cole is fully committed to offering all of his patients the very best quality of service possible, delivered in a relaxed and friendly environment. He has a special interest in providing cosmetic dentistry for which he has completed a number of long postgraduate courses. He is Invisalign®, Six Month Smiles, Cfast and Inman Aligner™ certified for adult cosmetic orthodontics. Dr Cole is also interested in the business aspects of dentistry and holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA). He has obtained the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners ‘ Certificate in Appraisal of Dental Practices’, and is a dental member of the General Dental Council Fitness to Practice Panel.

    Dr Cole is proficient in all phases of general dentistry, and minor orthodontic and oral surgery procedures. He treats patients of all ages with a caring, conservative approach to dentistry. The patient’s best interest is always his main focus. To address patient’s fears and concerns, an open line of communication is encouraged.

  • Dr Andrew Ford

    Dentist BDS (Lond 1987), GDC No. 62916

    Dr Andrew Ford graduated from UCH London in 1987 and after three years in NHS dentistry moved to Westfield in 1990 to continue the work of his late father, Michael Ford, who worked at the practice from 1961.

    Dr Ford is an experienced private general dentist with a wide range of skills and is keen to listen to and understand a patient’s problems and treat to a standard worthy of his own family. He is passionate that people of all ages and backgrounds deserve excellent treatment and a healthy dentition. The single most important issue underpinning all the dentistry he does is prevention, ensuring the mouth is clean and the gums are kept healthy.

    Dr Ford provides care for all types of general dental needs and where possible aim to restore both the function and original aesthetics of a tooth, always seeking ways to strengthen a tooth in a manner that respects, preserves and conserves tooth tissue. He has been involved with the restoration and planning of dental implant treatments since 1996 and is a member of the ITI foundation. Alongside this he has a keen interest in endodontic treatment and more complex re-treatments. Dr Ford employs both conservative and regenerative treatments for the resolution of gum disease and derives great satisfaction in improving a patient’s smile and self esteem. He works closely with our orthodontist in cases where realignment of the teeth is required, either by means of fixed braces or Invisalign® techniques. He has a great working relationship with his local crown/bridge and denture technicians. Patients routinely visit the laboratory for custom shade selection on front teeth and all crown shades are communicated to the lab with digital photography. Dr Ford is always happy to welcome new patients and looks forward to making dentistry as pleasant an experience as possible.

  • Dr Robert Hayes

    Qualifications include - MSc Imp Dent (lond 2006), Dip Imp Dent RCS (eng 2005), MF GDP (UK 2001), BDS (lond 1986)

    Dr Robert Hayes recognises that your smile is precious and that dentistry is about living, complimenting and enhancing your lifestyle. He aims to offer the highest standard of excellence keeping pace with patients changing aspirations for their dentistry. He listens to his patients and involves them in discussions and decisions about their oral health and appearance.

    Dr Hayes is a Royal College of Surgeons accredited implant training practitioner and accredited mentor in implant dentistry with the Association of Dental Implantology. He has marked assessments for the Royal College Implantology candidates for several years and mentors dentists in all aspects of implant dentistry including Nobel Guide Technology. He offers metal free procera crowns, bridges and veneers; All-on-4 Denture replacement and Teeth-in-an-Hour computer guided implant surgery via our i-cat low dose CT scanner. Dr Hayes also sees patients with advanced/complicated implant cases. Teeth For Life achieved its accreditation by BUPA and PPP Denplan and the Royal College of Surgeons under Dr Hayes' leadership. He is currently undertaking a PhD at Guy’s Hospital on use of Zygoma Implants.

  • Shima Mahdavi-Izadi

    SPECIALIST ENDONTIST GDC Registration Number - 81863 DDS, MClinDent MRD (Endontology), MEndo RCSEd

    Shima is a Specialist Endodontist who graduated from the prestigious Eastman Dental Hospital. Following completion of her undergraduate dental studies at Karolinska Institute, Stockholm in 2002 she began her career in general dental practice. She moved to the UK in 2003 and worked in general practice for seven years and taught clinical dentistry (part time) to undergraduate students at King's College Dental Institute during the latter part of those two years.

    After a successful career as a general dental practitioner, shima decided to pursue her passion for endodontics. She was accepted into the three-year full time specialist programme in Endodontology at the Eastman Dental Institute, UCL.

    During these three years, Shima treated referral based patients for complex non-surgical and surgical root canal treatment procedures. After the first two years, she obtained her Master in Clinical Dentistry (Endodontics), and after a further year, she completed her final and specialist year of training. After being successful in the MEndo examination at the Royal College of Surgeons, she gained entry into the GDC’s specialist list.

    Shima's enthusiasm for her specialty and her compassionate nature is reflected in her approach to patient care.

    Shima welcomes referrals for all forms of Endodontic treatment and has a particular interest in the management of complex cases and non-surgical root canal treatment.

  • Caterina Didimiotis

    Dental Surgeon - Veracruz 2002 GDC Registration Number - 102423

    Since qualifying as a Dental Surgeon in Veracruz, Mexico in 2002 I have worked in the NHS, Community and Private dentistry in the UK and abroad. Before joining Oasis in 2012 I was working as an NHS Dentists for five years in Hampshire and Nottinghamshire. I like to keep up to date by reading Dental Journals and attending courses regularly. I enjoy all aspects of general dentistry and I aim to provide my patients with high quality dental treatment, making my patient’s experience as comfortable as possible.  I am currently doing a Masters Degree in Aesthetic Dentistry

  • Dione Innes

    Hygienist Diploma in Dental Hygiene (Birmingham) 2003 | GDC Reg No. 6306

    Dione trained as a Dental Hygienist at the Birmingham Dental Hospital, Birmingham University and qualified in 2003.

    Dione is a member of the British society of dental hygiene and therapy (BSDHT) and enjoys all aspects of hygiene work and promoting good periodontal health. In her spare time, she enjoys family time with her young son and is a keen tennis player, along with cycling and jogging.

  • Hazel Alexander

    Hazel has been a qualified Dental Nurse at Westfield Dental practice for 23 years!. She has gained further Dental qualifications in Radiography, assisting with Sedation and Implant Nursing. She is the practice Infection Control lead and Head Nurse. She is a friendly, enthusiastic member of our team.

    Outside of work, Hazel enjoys spending time with her Horse, travelling and MotoGP.

  • Beverley Ames

    Receptionist

    Beverley brings to the practice her clinical knowledge having previously worked as a medical notes summariser for a large GP practice. She is proficient in all aspects of IT. Away from dentistry she also runs her own social media consultancy.

  • Ruta Rakauskaite

    Receptionist

    Ruta, who is a mother of two works part time on reception. Alongside her reception duties she is also responsible for the ordering of office and dental shop supplies. In her spare time, she has a keen interest in the beauty industry

  • Helen Pogorzelski

    Receptionist

    As an ex dental nurse Helen brings a wealth of clinical knowledge to the reception desk. Having been on reception for many years she is a welcome familiar smile to those long standing patients as well as new.

    Outside of dentistry she likes to spend quality time with her granddaughter Lilly.
