Shilpa qualified in 2010 from Birmingham School of Dentistry. She has completed her vocational training in NHS practice has successfully achieved her Diploma of the Membership of the joint Dental Faculties at the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
Since graduation she has worked in a range of Hospitals across Birmingham and Manchester broadening her experience in oral and maxillofacial surgery. She also has completed several post-graduate training posts based in Manchester Dental Hospital and Community settings gaining experience in special care dentistry, managing dental phobia, paediatric dentistry, and restorative and aesthetic dentistry.
She continues to work part time in Manchester Dental Hospital as a staff grade. She is a student tutor and lecturer for the postgraduate Masters in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry at the University of Manchester. Shilpa is currently part way through a postgraduate masters degree in Dentistry at the University of Manchester which she thoroughly enjoys.
She offers a broad range of routine private dental procedures. Shilpa is passionate about prevention of dental disease and patient education. She enjoys providing minimally invasive painless dentistry and has significant experience in managing dental phobia. Her special interests also include managing TMJ disorders and providing aesthetic dentistry. She takes pride in providing a high standard of care tailored for the individual.
