    I qualified from Guy's Hospital Dental School in 1987 and joined the Practice shortly after qualifying. I also practiced for two years part time in Southampton.

    Following moving the practice to Rustington in 1996 I have enjoyed carrying out the full variety of treatment that general practice involves. I have been a foundation trainer since 2010 and take an active interest in postgraduate education.

    I am married with two adult children. In my spare time I enjoy gliding and playing the French horn in the local concert band.

  • Robin Lesley

    I qualified in Bristol in 1981. After resident hospital Oral Surgery posts I spent three years working in Ferndown, Dorset in General Dental Practice. I have been treating patients in the current practice since 1986 and the practice moved from Littlehampton to the present premises in 1996.

    I gained my Membership in General Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons in England in 1991 and a diploma in Implantology from University College London in 2010. Appointments have included a position as a Dentist with a Special Interest in Periodontology 2006.

    I have enjoyed treating patients in a relaxed environment. I am married with four children. My outside interests include golf, tennis and running.

  • Jaume Escoda-Francoli

    Jaumw (James) studied in both universities of dentistry in Barcelona. He is a positive, energetic and friendly third generation dentist, James is deeply specialised in Oral Surgery, Periodontics and Implantology.

    James has been working as a dentist since 2004 and as a specialist since 2007.

    He likes to travel, ths being the perfect way to attend many congresses of his specialisty around the world.

    He was an associate professor in the University of Barcelona before he came to England and is working hard on his doctoral thesis focused on a synthetic biomaterial that could be a substitute for autogenous bone grafting. He started working in the UK at the Royal South Hants Hospitail in Southampton in 2016 as an Oral Surgery Consultant. He has completed several courses including intravenous sedation, intermediate life support, safeguarding patients, IRMER, etc, to improve, adapt, comply and learn more as his life's motto. James enjoys working as a team providing excellent care (shoulder by shoulder) with his patients and team members resulting in high quality care and treatment making the patient really happy.

  • Angus Pringle

    Angus studied dentistry at Glasgow University, graduation with honours in 2001, having achieved numerous distinctions, prizes and awards.

    He fulfilled a life-long ambition to become an Orthodontist at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford and UCL Eastman Dental Institute. He obtained his MSc in Orthodontics (with distinction) having achieved distinctions in both academic and clinical areas. He also achieved the Membership in Orthodontics of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He undertook further training to become a Hospital Consultant at Queen Alexandra Hospital in Portsmouth and Bristol Dental School acheiving the intercollegiate Specialty Fellowship in Orthodontics, affiliating with the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He then worked as a Orthodontic Consultant at St Richard's Hospital, Chichester and Worthing Hospital until 2013.

    During his career, Angus has achieved many prizes and awards, including the 3M Unitek Orthodontic Prize, Howard Tonge Award and runner-up in 2017 of the British Orthodontic Society 'Against the Odds' competition. He has also published in peer reviewed professional journals and lectured nationally and internationally. Outside of work he is fanatical about sport and has completed numerous triathlons, running and swimming events.

Hygienists

  • Sue Barber

    Sue Qualified in 1982 in Oral Hygiene, Sue gained a mass of experience throughout her time as a hygienist. Sue gives tailored advise to each of her patients and no 2 mouths are the same. Sue has been at the practice for many years and has become a confidant to many of her patients. Sue loves to travel in her free time and spending time with her family.

  • Suzanne Miller

    Suzanne qualified in 1999 from the Eastman Dental Hospital, GDC reg number 5512. She has been working mainly in the private sector of dentistry with experience in the Maxillo-Facial department at St.Richards, Chichester. She is married and has 2 daughters, her interests are running and keeping fit and always enjoys being out walking her dogs with the family

    Beryl is a fantastic experienced Nurse, she works alongside both the dentists and has done since 1984 and also works reception. She has excellent knowledge of clinical regulations and is always busy! Beryl is a very active individual, often swimming and running. She also takes great pride in her garden and will often be found there out of work if the sun is out!

    Denise is fun, friendly and very good at nursing. She works alongside all the dentists, Denise has recently taken on the Role of Lead Dental nurse which she enjoys and she handles the daily challenges that this role brings with a positive mental attitude, she works full time and you will always find her with a smile on her face. She loves to exercise in her free time and is very adventurous!

    Sue is one of our longest serving members of the team, she understands the practice well and has enjoyed her career so far. Sue contributes a positive atmosphere in the practice and will go out of the way for her patients and the team.

    I have been a qualified Dental Nurse for 5 years and have worked with Bupa for a couple of years which I have really enjoyed, I have recently returned to work after maternity leave . I enjoy the interaction with my colleagues and patients that are in my care and will go the extra mile to ensure that they are happy and comfortable while they are in the practice.


    I enjoy spending time with my family and friends out and about in the countryside.

    I have worked in the dentistry field for the last 24 years starting out as a trainee dental nurse in 1994 to qualifying as a qualified Dental Nurse in November 1996 where I gained the National Examining Board of Dental Nurses qualification I also registered with the General Dental Council as a registered Dental Nurse. I have worked within the NHS system and in private practice, I have worked my way through all areas of being a dental nursing by training and becoming a lead dental nurse, clinical lead for the local area within oasis, working with and training the trainee nurses and most recently in late 2015 applying and completing the Practice Managers Academy in 2016 to become a Practice Manager for Bupa here at Rustington.

    I bring with me wealth of dental knowledge including clinical and clerical which helps and supports the patients in our care and my team here at Rustington.

    In my free time I enjoy family life and spending time with my friends and colleagues.
