About Us
Bupa Dental Care (formerly Oasis Dental Care) in Market Rasen first opened its doors to the public in the summer of 2008. It occupies a building which is called The Old Police Station. It was, as the name suggests a police station for the Market Town built in 1849 as a station and Magistrates court and closing in 2005 when a combined Police and Fire Station opened in the town. The building is now shared with the town council offices and if you ask the Town Clerk nicely she may show you the original police cell which is still in situ, but being used as a toilet! The building is Grade 1 listed and still retains the original blue police coloured paint to the exterior.
Inside the dental practice however there is little to remind you of the buildings former use. The surgeries are light and airy, with modern equipment that allows our clinicians to perform the treatments we offer in a comfortable & safe environment.
Bupa Dental Care – Market Rasen (formerly Oasis Dental Care) is open 8:00am – 7:30pm Monday to Thurdays and 8:00am - 5:30pm on Fridays. The practice also opens on Saturday mornings 9:00am - 1:00pm.
The practice has a gently sloping ramp to the front door, a lowered reception desk and toilet facilities which have been adapted for the needs of disabled patients or those with limited mobility and also include a baby changing unit.
There is some parking at the practice, those with mobility issues can usually find a spot close to the building. There is free parking for 2 hours in the COOP car park just across the road from the practice.
The practice has one surgery which is accessible to patients with limited mobility. It has a further surgery which is accessed via 3 steps. The other two surgeries are up a full flight of stairs.
