    After graduating from the University of Glasgow, Ikram joined a prestigious practice in Fort William where he trained for a further year developing his skills in General Dentistry. During his time, Ikram was honoured with the accolade of “Junior (vt) Dentist of the Year Scotland 2012”. He has since been working at Bupa Dental Care Bupa.

    Ikram is passionate about periodontology and the important role it plays in the oral and general health of patients. He is committed to continually improving the patient's dental experience and views each day as an opportunity to take his quality of care to a higher level.

    I graduated in dentistry in 2005 in Portugal and since qualified as a Specialist Orthodontist at the University of Barcelona. With over 10 years experience in Dentistry i have an interest in Orthodontics for both adults and children also interceptive techniques and facial skull development. I regularly attend conferences and courses to keep up to date on all the latest developments in Orthodontics.

    I qualified from Manchester with a specialist orthodontic qualification in 1995. Following jobs in specialist practice in Altrincham and in the Community Services in Blackburn and Hyndburn I then joined Oasis Dental Care. I enjoy working with and providing treatment for children and young adults and am responsible for the NHS contract. This is currently achieved with the help of my orthodontic therapist Mrs Michelle Everett.

    For Dr Leiner the main priority is to build trusting and friendly relationships with his patients; he enjoys getting to know people, as well as making anxious patients feel at ease. Whilst dentistry is not just about providing beautiful restorations, he believes that you get the most satisfaction by taking pride in every procedure you perform.

    As well as general dentistry, he has an interest in dental implants and sedation, having completed further training in both. He also speaks fluent German and enjoys travelling.

    After graduating from the University of Liverpool, I worked at a busy practice in Darwen before joining the Oasis team in 2016. I enjoy all aspects of dentistry and I am committed to focus on patients’ needs as an individual. I like making my patients feel at ease and take pleasure in making a child's first dental visit a happy experience.

    I have completed part one of the MJDF exam and regularly attend courses to further develop my knowledge and skills. Outside of dentistry I have keen interests in travelling and regularly play netball.

    I am a part time associate previously working in Scotland. I enjoy interacting with my patients, providing good quality dentistry as a part of a dedicated team. I have completed MJDF part 1 and committed to continued professional development and regularly attend courses to help keep up to date with the latest techniques and opinions.

    When I am not at work I enjoy spending time with my two lovely girls.

    I graduated from The University of Sheffield in 2015. I then carried out two years of postgraduate training including a year in oral and maxillofacial surgery in South Yorkshire. I take great pride in my work and I’m always looking to improve on my skillset. I am a firm believer in holistic patient care and enjoy being a part of the patients’ journey in improving their oral health and general wellbeing.

    Outside of dentistry I enjoy practicing yoga and training brazilian jiu jitsu.

    I am fully trained and qualified to carry out a number of procedures including the treatment and helping to prevent gum disease and plaque, calculus during scaling and polishing teeth. Providing advice and encouraging patients to take part is a major part of my role. More recently I am now able to provide and advise on whitening treatments. I have over 20 years experience working in a variety of practices all over Manchester as well as Manchester Dental Hospital

  • David Martin

    David originally qualified as a Dental Technician then as a Dental Hygienist (Leeds 1997) and latterly as a Dental Therapist (Liverpool 2001). In 2014 David gained a BSc (Hons) in Dental Studies.

    He was awarded Dental Therapist of the Year in 2007 for his commitment to dental team work and for the care he provides to his patients. He has lectured at both Leeds Dental Institute and Liverpool University and has presented internationally.

    A past chairman of the British Association of Dental Therapists. David is committed to provide preventive and restorative care for both adults and children with emphasis on positive and painless experiences for his patients.
    David currently works in the Greater Manchester area as a Dental Therapist.

    I started working for Bupa Dental Care in June 2014 as a Trainee Dental nurse and qualified in March 2016. Once I qualified I worked alongside the practice manager and practice co-ordinator in order to gain extra knowledge which then allowed me to progress onto Lead nurse in November 2016.

     I am fortunate to work alongside a well established and supportive team of clinical and non clinical staff where I have gained a wealth of knowledge. Everyday I learn new skills which make my job enjoyable and interesting. I enjoy meeting patients both new and established and making them feel at ease. I also enjoy working alongside the Reception team as this increases my knowledge and allows me to expand my skills further.

As i carry a wealth of experience this allows me to pass on my experiences and knowledge to both staff and patients. I am currently working Part time within the Practice and thoroughly enjoy my role and working for Oasis. The Practice is well established and i am happy to be a part of the team

I have supplemented this with certificates in Radiography, Oral Health and Dental Sedation. In 1991 i joined a busy Orthodontic practice treating both NHS and Private patients. I joined Oasis in 2009 taking on a leading role in Organising the Orthodontic unit within the Practice. I look forward to meeting the families that come through the Orthodontic Suite and making everyday enjoyable for me.

    I have been working as a Dental Nurse for over 10 years and enjoy it fully. It is a very varied and interesting role and i learn something new everyday which is exciting. I have recently completed an extended Nurse duties course in application of fluoride varnish and Oral Health. I am hoping to start seeing patients very soon to help with the prevention of dental decay in both children and adults. I have worked at Oasis Dentalcare Bolton for over 7 years and am fortunate to know our patients and staff very well.

    I enjoy putting nervous patients at ease by chatting and explaining procedures so they are fully informed.

I have a caring, friendly and mature attitude when caring for my patients. I love to talk to people of all ages and feel that I can relate well with them.

    I am committed to caring for patients and approaching them with lots of empathy and feel that I can put nervous patients at ease in an environment which can be rather daunting to some.

    I enjoy coming to work as it doesn’t feel like work if you love your job like I do. I like to challenge myself at all times so that I can learn new things and develop further – no matter how long you have been a dental nurse you can always learn new things!

    In my spare time I like doing creative tasks such as sewing, knitting, making soap and many other things! Needless to say I am not sat down for very long as I love to be on the go!

    I have been a qualified Dental Nurse since 2010 and joined Bupa Dental Care Bolton in 2011. I love every aspect to my role and the variety that comes with this dealing with Patients and their individual needs. I took on the role of Practice co-ordinator in 2012 which helped me to broaden my knowledge and enhance my skills further. I feel settled within the Practice and fortunate to have the opportunity to develop alongside an experienced and professional team. In 2017 I took on the role as registered Practice Manager, I am enjoying my role and I am grateful that I have been given the opportunity to develop and progress in my career.
