• Stephen Blake

    Stephen graduated from Leeds University in December 1993. After working in the general practice for a while he decided to advance his dentistry expertise by attending numerous postgraduate courses and seminars as well as undertaking postgraduate qualifications. In 1999 he attained the MFGDP qualification from the Royal College of Surgeons in London. Then in 2003, he was awarded the Diploma in Postgraduate Dental Studies (DPDS) from Bristol University.

    Stephen has a special interest in treatment planning for large restorative cases and in particular enjoys providing treatment for patients that need multiple crowns, bridges, veneers and implants. Also, providing treatments tailored to a particular patient's needs is of great interest to him as no one option will suit every individual. Having a commitment to keeping up to date with developments in dentistry, Stephen has taken numerous courses to further his education in most fields of dentistry. 

  • Janette Keska

    Orthodontist GDC No: 59166 | BDS London 1984, MSc Orthodontics London 1992 MOrth RCS England 1994

    Janette is the specialist orthodontist at the practice. She has a mixed National Health and private patient base.Qualified as a dentist in 1984 in London and went on to do house jobs in children’s dentistry, orthodontics and oral surgery. Janette then had 2 years experience in general dental practice in Cambridge, followed by a 3 year hospital post in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Stoke Mandeville hospital. Her three year, full time specialist orthodontic post was at Guys Hospital leading to my specialist qualification in orthodontics. Janette has worked in hospital orthodontics as well as specialist practice and has been providing a service for orthodontic patients at Lexham Gardens for the last 17 years.

    Janette's special interest in treatment of adult patients and provision of invisible type appliances such as lingual appliances, which make orthodontics much more acceptable for many of her adult patients.

  • Sunaina Kochhar

    Dentist GDC Reg No: 244483 | BDS Birmingham 2013

    Sunaina has been working as a general dentist in mixed NHS and private practices, as well as being a community dentist on a mobile dental unit across Hampshire and Dorset. She has also worked as a Dental Relationship Manager in private dental referral centre’s in Southampton and Basingstoke; being trained under the Diamond Academy of Advanced Dental Training. She has mentored fellow dentists in referring practices in restoring dental implants as well as working in a Harley Street Implant Centre, providing implant consultations and restorations.

    She has recently joined the team and she is an enthusiastic and motivated young practitioner who enjoys building trusting relationships with her patients and colleagues and she tailors her approach and treatment to meet patients’ individual clinical needs and wishes.

    Sunaina is a local lady living with her husband in Gerrards Cross and is especially family oriented, living in a bustling joint family of nine, spanning four generations, and making frequent trips to her mum in her hometown – Southampton.

    She is fluent in both Hindi and Punjabi as additional languages. In her spare time, she enjoys practicing yoga, cooking and is a keen globe-trotter.

  • Rikki Toor

    Associate Dentist GDC Reg No. 177514 | BDS London 2009

    Rikki graduated from Kings College, London in 2009 and is currently in his final year of his Masters of Clinical Dentistry in fixed and removable prosthetics at Kings College. He has a specialist interest in complex full mouth rehabilitation and short-term adult orthodontics.


  • Cara McAleavey

    Hygienist Diploma on Dental Hygiene 2007, GDC No: 127742

    Cara qualified at the Eastman Dental Hospital in London in 2007 and joined the Amersham team in 2008. She is committed to helping patients look after their gums, enabling them to keep their teeth and maintaining fresh breath. She has helped many patients turn a visit to the hygienist into a positive experience.

  • Sylwia Gorska

    Hygienist GDC Reg No: 203799 | FdSc Oral Health Science

    Sylwia qualified from the University of Essex as a dental hygienist after beginning her dental career as a dental nurse and realising her love for promoting oral health. She finds it very rewarding seeing her patient’s oral health improve is always looking for more ways to motivate her patients. Sylwia’s friendly and calming approach puts nervous patients at ease in the dental environment and helps them have positive dental experience.

    She is originally from Poland and loves walking in the mountains and country side. Reading is another of her hobbies and in her spare time she also enjoys cooking and trying new recipes.

  • Sonali Chopra

    Dental Hygienist/Therapist GDC Reg No: 246979 | Diploma in Dental Hygiene (Dip DH) 2017, Diploma in Dental Therapy (Dip DT) 2017

    Sonali has been in the dental field for more than 12 years and has performed several roles. She continued on to complete the dental hygiene and therapy program at King’s College Hospital in 2017, and joined the Oasis Amersham team in 2018.

    She is gentle, compassionate and with her professional approach, likes to motivate her patients to improve their oral health while making them feel at ease.

  • Chadani Manandhar

    Dental Nurse GDC - 173221

    Chadani is a qualified dental nurse who has been working with the practice for over 10 years. She is based in Amersham and started my career as a dental nurse here. She is the head nurse at the practice as well as Infection Control Lead. Her roles covers assisting the general dentist, implant dentist and an orthodontist. She enjoys what she does and loves the pleasant working environment.

  • Farida Kausar

    Dental Nurse GDC Reg No: 159179 | Verified experience in Dental Nursing

    Farida has recently joined our practice as a Dental Nurse. She brings with her a wealth of knowledge from her years of working in both the NHS and Private sector.
    Her calming nature and caring attitude will put you at ease during your visit. She is a local girl who in her spare time enjoys reading, spending time with family and friends, travelling and Pilates.

  • Christine Rae

    Practice Manager

    A decade ago, Christine joined the practice for 6 months as a Trainee Dental Nurse and hasn't left! After qualifying, she became the Practice Clinical Manager providing the support and training to new nurses who joined what was then a teaching practice. After completing the Core Of Knowledge and attending many seminars and course on subjects ranging from Staff Management to Reading Body Language, she became the Practice Manager. At the beginning of the practice's journey she was lucky to have the opportunity to become a Cluster Manager before returning to Amersham and has been the practice manager ever since!

    She believes the success of the practice is down to fantastic team she work's with and the practice's approach to make a trip to the dentist as pleasant as possible.
