He has a special interest in cosmetic dentistry, digital smile design and implants, and has lectured both in the UK and abroad on these topics. He is a firm believer in minimally invasive dentistry & the use of Biomimetic principles (mimicking nature) to produce optimal dental solutions. He also collaborates with other technicians to provide patients with beautifully natural smiles.

Moj has passed the membership examinations both at the Royal College of Physicians in Glasgow & the Royal College of Surgeons in England (where he is now a part-time lecturer). He is one of only a few dentists to hold a qualification from all 3 UK Royal Colleges having attained a Diploma in Implant Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh as well. He completed the master's in Restorative Dentistry at the world-renowned Eastman Dental Institute in London with his research project recently presented at an international conference in South Korea.

Manuel joined Hospital Lane in August 2014 and is working in conjunction with the principal Tony Auger, who has a vast experience in restorative and implant dentistry.

  • Tony Auger

Clinic Principal GDC Reg No. 62668 | BDS Birm 1987

Qualifying from Birmingham University in 1987 with a distinction in clinical dentistry, Tony set up the original Hospital Lane dental practice with a keen interest in restorative dentistry. Developing interests in aesthetic and ceramic reconstructive dentistry Tony has incorporated CEREC and an onsite laboratory into the heart of the clinic.

Tony’s 'teeth for life' philosophy first saw him work with dental implants in 1991 and these have become a significant part of his clinical work, alongside leading the team of implant dentists at the clinic.

In his commitment to providing high standards of patient centred care, Tony has developed the Clinic into a centre for immediate tooth replacement and All on 4 implant treatment with on-site advanced Cone Beam CT scanning facilities, dental implant laboratory and private waiting lounge, ensuring patients receive great care from a dedicated dental team.

Tony‘s clinical work is often carried out in conjunction with Manuel Gonzalez-O’Sullivan from Seville University, who has had specialist qualifications covering periodontology, dental implants and restorative dentistry. This patient-led approach helps patients access all the benefits of the clinic whilst receiving appropriate specialist support.

  • Louise Auger

Radiation Protection Officer GDC Reg No. 63828 | BDS Birm 1988

Louise studied dentistry at Birmingham University and graduated in 1988. She initially worked in general dental practice in Ashford and Rochester before establishing a domiciliary dental service in the Medway towns. She then took an extended career break to be a full-time mother to her three children and returned to Hospital Lane in 2001.

Louise has now concentrated her practice on specialist dental radiography and in particular cone beam CT scanning. 3D dental imaging, using cone beam CT technology, is a rapidly developing field in dentistry where its 3D images, used in conjunction with sophisticated software, are invaluable for the diagnosis of problems and the planning of remedial treatment, especially for implants.

Louise enjoys helping patients understand their scans and discussing the results with them. Having had the opportunity to view their scans patients are better able to understand the proposed treatments and to ask questions of their clinician so that they are fully informed before their treatment begins.

Louise is a Biodynamic Craniosacral practitioner – Craniosacral therapy is a gentle way of working with the whole body through light touch, it developed from osteopathy and identifies restrictions and tensions held in the body. The therapy’s aim is to support the body’s innate ability to rebalance, restore and heal itself. Craniosacral therapy can be very helpful in reducing stress and promoting a sense of calm in the body.

As part of the team of dentists at the clinic, Louise is often able to help patients understand why their dental problems have arisen and encourage them actively to take part in formulating a treatment plan with their dentist. This approach allows a greater level of understanding for patients and the achievement of the best long term outcome for their treatment.

Craig has taught as Lecturer in Periodontology at St Bartholomew’s and the Royal London School of Medicine and Dentistry where he also ran the Master of Clinical Dentistry course in periodontology for those dentists wishing to become specialists in this field.

He has accumulated a wealth of experience in implant dentistry since 1998 and treats a full range of cases from a single tooth to full arch reconstruction with delayed and immediate loading. As well as implant dentistry, he has great experience in general and aesthetic dentistry and has a special interest in laser dentistry. He is highly experienced too in managing and treating diseases around implants such as peri-implantitis

Although he is a specialist, Craig has always been keen to develop his general dental skills as this helps with effective treatment planning and dealing with the range of complex problems patients often present with. He has much experience in hard and soft tissue regeneration and aesthetic gum reshaping techniques as well as using regenerative materials and he incorporates them into his implant and restorative treatments to enhance the results for his patients.

Craig recently gained his fellowship in laser dentistry from the University of Genoa, Italy and uses Lasers routinely in his clinical practice. Zelda graduated in 1999 from the University of Pretoria, South Africa. By using modern technology at Hospital Lane, Zelda aims to restore teeth by conserving as much of the original tooth structure as possible. Zelda explains, 'Tooth wear has become more prevalent and modern techniques in conservative dentistry provide a range of solutions for restoring the worn dentition. I find restoring cases where advanced tooth wear has been diagnosed very rewarding. Seeing my patient’s confidence improved when I have restored the function and beauty of a patient’s smile adds hugely to my work satisfaction. In addition to this, it fills me with great joy when I see how our gentle, patient centred approach changes a patient’s feelings towards receiving dentistry so they reach a point when visiting the dentist is no longer a stressful event. Trust plays a big role and I love building a good rapport with my patients”.

Zelda provides a full range of general dentistry with a special interest in restorative dentistry. Treatments provided include crowns, onlays, bridges, some root canal treatments and tooth whitening.
