She loves to treat nervous patients and help them to conquer their fears of visiting the dentist. She spends many extra-curricular hours on keeping up-to-date with the latest in dentistry. Over the years Carole has increased her skills by doing further lectures and courses such as teeth whitening, local anaesthetics, temporary dressings as well as a recent lecture on the introduction into mental health that she feels is important as communicating with patients is a necessity.
Carole is a long standing North West BSDHT committee member helping to organise bi-annual meetings for fellow dental hygienists and therapists. This is a great way of also gaining continued professional development needed to follow recommended guidelines.
Carole is an advisor for the leading indemnity organisation, and has been for about 14 years one of only 2 in the country, She finds this not only an interesting but also fulfilling role.
Carole has many interests including singing and has performed at the Bridgewater Hall. He has made miniature dolls house furniture with a local club for fun. She also swims for pleasure. Carole has two wonderful children who somehow manage to rule the house, but she still has to do the cooking! (another interest of hers).
