• Dr Ashley Watson

    Principal Dentist GDC Reg No: 68501 | BDS Kings (1992), LDS RCS Eng (1993)

    Ashley qualified at King’s London in 1992 and has since worked in General Practice. He has travelled as far as Australia and America to learn new techniques, meet his dental heroes and visit dental manufacturers abroad to discover what is new.

    Ashley has always adopted technology early and as such was one of the first to introduce digital X-rays, lasers and CAD/CAM dentistry into the South East. He now advises Bupa on the various technologies available and his practice is mainly limited to dental implant placement and complex restorative techniques using the latest digital methods.

    He is a member of the ITI and is co-director of his local study club, and also a mentor for the Straumann Implant system introducing new dentists to this exciting area of dentistry.

    Ashley works in general practice in Canterbury, and his work in Canary Wharf is limited to implant treatments.

  • Dr Chris Norman

    Dentist GDC Reg No: 51637 | BDS (Royal) (1977)

    Chris qualified from the London Hospital in 1978, and has worked in general practice in Haywards Heath, Letchworth, and since 1990 in Canterbury.

    He enjoys a wide variety of dental practices, with an interest in endodontics and short-term orthodontic treatment using 6 Months Smiles and Invisalign. Away from work, he has owned golden retrievers for 25 years and enjoys jogging and cycling.

  • Stewart Baird

    Dentist GDC Reg No: 69583 | BDS (Dundee) M.ClinDent (Prosthodontics) (King’s Lond.)

    Stewart qualified at Dundee in 1993 and worked in general practice in the Midlands and Essex before buying his own practice with his wife in 2002 in Ashford, Kent which they owned until 2015.

    During that time he was a mentor to newly qualified dentists and managed to find the time to obtain a Masters’ degree in Prosthodontics from Kings College, London. This has given him the knowledge and skills to plan and execute complex restorative treatment, smile design cases, occlusal rehabilitation and dental implants. He carries out all aspects of general dental practice and keeps up to date with the latest techniques with regular courses both at home and abroad.

    Away from work he enjoys spending time with his wife and son and being a “taxi driver” for all his son’s activities. He also enjoys cycling and reading.

  • Dr Jasveer Jandu

    Dentist GDC Reg No: 149820 | BSc BDS MJDF RCS (Eng)

    Jasveer studied Biochemistry at King’s College (London), before starting her studies in dentistry at the University of Liverpool. She qualified in 2008 and completed her vocational training at an independent practice in Lydd, Kent. She then went on to be a senior house officer within the maxillofacial department at Kent and Canterbury Hospital in 2009 and continues to work within the trust as a speciality doctor, now based at William Harvey Hospital, Ashford, whilst also working as an associate dentist.

    Jasveer has attended a number of courses and educational events to complement her natural interest in oral surgery, periodontics and restorative techniques. She is naturally adept at working with paediatric patients and nervous/difficult access patients.

    Outside of dentistry, Jasveer is a fitness enthusiast, attending fitness bootcamp regularly with her children. Jasveer is passionate about art, and allows her creative side to flourish in her travels, cookery, theatre and encouraging this creative flare in her young family through sewing and painting.

  • Mr Gavin Power

    Specialist Orthodontist GDC Reg No: 72418 | Morth 2004,BDS 1996, FDS(Orth) RCS (Eng) 2004, MSc 9Lond) 2003, MFDS RCS 9Eng) 2000

    Gavin studied dentistry at the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa and was awarded the Byron Moore Scholarship from the Zimbabwe Dental Association, and the Oral B Exchange award for academic and clinical excellence. In his final year Gavin won the prestigious Dental Association of South Africa Orthodontic Medal, setting the tone for his future career.

    Gavin subsequently moved to the UK and worked as a general dental practitioner for several years, but having developed an interest in orthodontics, elected to pursue a career in the speciality. In 2001 he commenced a three-year training programme in orthodontics at Guy’s Hospital, London, and the Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead. He was awarded a Master’s degree in Orthodontics (MSc), followed by his Membership in Orthodontics (MOrth) from the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2004. Wishing to broaden his experience in treating complex and multidisciplinary orthodontic patients, Gavin decided to further his training as a senior registrar at the Eastman (UCL) and Kingston hospitals, and attained his Fellowship in Orthodontics (FOrth) in Edinburgh in 2006.

    Gavin has been a consultant in orthodontics at Wexham Park Hospital/Frimley Health and Northwick Park Hospital, and relocated to Kent in 2016 to the East Kent Hospitals Foundation Trust (EKHUFT).

    Alongside private practice in London, he is a consultant in orthodontics at the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford, where he provides specialist orthodontic treatment to a variety of complex and high priority patients. Gavin is involved in teaching and training new orthodontists and foundation dentists, and is a lecturer on the Greater London Orthodontic Specialist Course.

    Gavin’s special areas of interest include facial aesthetics in adult and paediatric orthodontic patients, lingual (behind the teeth) orthodontics, working alongside other specialists in multidisciplinary treatment (missing teeth/restorative, periodontal/gum disease and facial anomalies/orthognathic), as well as working with patients of all ages with cleft lip and palate. Gavin was awarded the Gilbert Scott Bursary to gain experience in nasoalveolar moulding in cleft babies at the prestigious Institute of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in New York, USA in 2014.

  • Mr Steven Williams

    Specialist Endodontist GDC Reg No: 74966 | BDS (Lond) MFDS RCPS MClinDent MRD RCS (Glasg)

    Steve qualified as a dentist from Guy’s Dental Hospital in 1998. This was followed by posts in oral surgery, restorative dentistry, orthodontics and general dental practice.

    He trained as a specialist endodontist at Guy’s Hospital, London and gained a Masters in Clinical Dentistry with distinction. His four-year specialist training under the guidance of Professor Pitt Ford was completed with a membership in Restorative Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons.

    Steve has gained extensive endodontic training and is registered as a specialist in endodontics with the General Dental Council. He now spends his time in practice limited to endodontics and also teaches one day a week at King’s Dental Institute to help train future specialists.


  • Kimberly Dargan

    Hygienist GDC Reg No: 192861 | Dip Dent Therapy RCS Eng 2010, Dip Dent Hygiene RCS Eng 2010

    Kim left the bright lights of Bolton to qualify as a dental hygienist and therapist at King’s College Hospital London in 2010. She was the first dental therapist to complete the Sports Dentistry Course at UCL Eastman Dental Institute. Kim then chose to study for an MSc in Sport Science when she realised she was better at writing about sport than actually performing it.

  • Lindsey Peddle

    Hygienist GDC Reg No: 6040 | Dip Dental Hygiene RCS (Eng) 2002

    Lindsey qualified from the Eastman Dental Hospital (UCLH) in 2002 with a qualification in Dental Hygiene from the Royal College of Surgeons.

    Since qualifying, she has worked in specialist periodontal practice and general dental practice. She is an active member of the British Society of Dental Hygiene & Therapy (BSDHT).

    The aspect of her career she most enjoys is patient guidance and education in the prevention of periodontal (gum) disease.

  • Amy Woodside

    Therapist and Hygienist GDC Reg No: 244203 | Dip Dent Therapy RCS (Eng) 2017

    Amy originally joined the practice in 2011 as a trainee dental nurse. She went on to gain her dental nursing qualification at The Royal London Dental Hospital in 2013. Upon qualifying, Amy returned to the practice, working as a dental nurse for over two years. She then returned to The Royal London Dental Hospital to qualify as a dental hygienist and therapist. In her spare time she enjoys coastal walks and cycling.
