Dental Surgeon with Special Interest in Implants (GDC Reg No. 79536) BDS (Wales), MSc Implantology, MFGDP

Dr Michael Page qualified from Cardiff Dental Hospital in 2001 having gained the Rita Cohen prize in biochemistry. Michael undertook a number of positions in South Wales gaining experience in various areas of dentistry. During this time, he always maintained close contact and links with Cardiff, his colleagues at the dental hospital, attending numerous postgraduate courses and undertaking cases in conjunction with colleagues at the dental hospital.

In 2007, he joined The Parade Dental Surgery further advancing his experiencing in more complex cases and developing a special interest in dental implantology and surgical dentistry.

In 2012 Michael was one of the first to obtain an MSC in dental implantology from Cardiff University, the highest degree available in the field of dental implantology.
He has also undertaken further implant training in Germany and regularly gives lectures to other dentists on dental implants, Michael is also a member of the prestigious faculty of General Dental Practioners, Royal College of Surgeons England.

Michael’s clinical practice involves treatment of all aspects of dental implantology, restorative and aesthetic dentistry. He regularly undertakes complex dental cases involving the use of dental implants and his studies have meant that his dental practice is at the cutting edge of this area of dentistry.
He also has a special interest in Endodontics (Root Canal Treatment) and routinely treats more complex cases in this field.

Michael is known with his patients for his caring and sympathetic attitude and a patient focus approach to solving complex dental problems.

He has undertaken extensive postgraduate education and most recently being awarded Masters Degree in Dental Implantology from Cardiff University. This is one of the few universities in the UK to issue these Masters Degree courses in implantology and Michael is one of the first to have completed the course from Cardiff. He is presently a board member for the Association of Dental Implantology and the Welsh representative for this association. The Association of Dental Implantology is the national representative body for dental implantology in the UK.

He is always keen to advance his skills and continues training throughout the world. He most recently completing an advanced surgical course in Germany in dental implantology and regularly travels throughout the UK sourcing the most advanced training possible. Michael’s clinical practice at The Parade involves a wide spectrum of dental treatment. He undertakes complex dental cases involving the use of dental implants and his studies have meant that his dental practice is at the cutting edge of this area of dentistry. He has a particular experience in dental implant retained dentures and stabilising dentures using mini implants. Michael is known with his patients for his caring and sympathetic attitude and a patient focused approach to solving complex dental problems.
