Dentist & Dental Surgeon with Special Interest in Implants (GDC Reg No. 76874) BCHD Stellenbosch South Africa 1999, MSc Aest-Rest Dent Manc 2015

I completed my dental degree at the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa, in 1999. I only worked in SA for 6 months before emigrating to the UK, where I have been since.
In 2004 I completed a 1 year foundation course in implant dentistry in Newcastle, and started placing my first implants. I followed this up in 2010 with further postgraduate training in implant dentistry at Newcastle University and completed an 18 month Certificate in Clinical Implantology.
To further my knowledge I joined the FGDP Diploma in Implant Dentistry course from the Royal College of Surgeons London in January 2015, and will be completing the Diploma December 2016.
To enable me to deliver quality comprehensive restorative dentistry I gained a Masters degree in Restorative Aesthetic Dentistry from the University of Manchester in December 2014.

Currently I am working as a GDP and dental surgeon with special interest in Implantology in an Oasis Platinum Practice in Holt, and part time placing and restoring implants only in Lincolnshire. At the Holt practice I take referrals for complex restorative dentistry and implant dentistry, ranging from simple single tooth cases to full arch reconstructions and sinus lifts. Immediate, delayed, immediate loading, ridge preservation and guided bone regeneration are all part of my daily work. On average I place around 150 to 200 implants per year, and have been for the last 4-5 years.
