Make a Wish this half term
Monday 17th October 2016, posted in News Archive
This half term Oasis Dental Care will be supporting Make-A-Wish® UK, the charity that grants magical wishes to enrich the lives of children and young people fighting life-threatening conditions. Oasis practice teams had the opportunity to choose their charity and voted overwhelmingly in support of Make-A-Wish.
This October half term, Oasis will run local fundraising activities in all of its 360 practices nationwide. All of the activities are inspired by Oasis Dental Cares’ tooth fairy mascot and promoted as ‘Make-A-Wish this half term’.
The great news is that for every £1 raised in practice, Oasis will donate an additional 50p, seeking to achieve the maximum company donation of £20,000. Justin Ash, CEO at Oasis Dental Care said: “We are delighted to be fundraising for Make-A-Wish. The work that Make-A-Wish does for children and young people fighting life-threatening conditions is inspiring and we are committed to making many wishes come true.”
Practices will be promoting good oral health routines for children, with the tooth fairy also helping young patients to learn how to take great care of their teeth. This is a fantastic opportunity for families to bring about a wish for other families in need and also to have fun visiting the dentist.
